Basic Piano Library Recital Books

The Basic Piano Course Recital Books were created to offer students easy to play supplementary performance pieces. Levels 1 through 3 are comprised of Folk tunes or modern original works, while the higher levels are a blend of Folk, Classical, and Sacred Tunes.

Each piece correlates page-by-page with the Lesson Books and very effectively reinforce the musical concepts your child is learning. Lesson Book 1A allows for Carolyne to play duet with your child as they are learning. 

While not required for the course, your child - or you! - will find the additional pieces each week rewarding. 

For those students interested in the Classics: 
  • Level 4
    Classical themes begin to be introduced 

  • Level 5
    Ten classical pieces are included in their original form

  • Level 6
    Pieces by Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Chopin Debussy and Rebikov are included

You are welcome to purchase any of these additional books and Carolyne will then incorporate them into your child's lesson.

By Level 6, students will progress to playing original versions of classical pieces, or whatever type of music they are inclined to enjoy performing.
